KKR, RR, DC, and LSG are the remaining 4 teams in Group A. SRH, RCB, PBKS, and GT are the other teams in Group B. The table seedings are based on the number of times a team has been awarded the title or qualified to play in the final.

For the phase of the league each team will play all other teams in their group, at home and away, as well as two times against the teams that have the same seeding as in the other group, and one time against the other teams from the other groups (split at home as well as away) making it 14 games in each group. The league phase will consist of 70 games then three playoffs, with a third final.

The Rajasthan Royals are an Indian Premier League franchise cricket team based in Jaipur, Rajasthan (IPL).
